One Day on the Enoden: Slam Dunk, Bunny Girl Senpai and the Sea

The Enoden is a small coastal railway that runs about 10 km between Fujisawa and Kamakura, squeezing between houses and running beside the sea for long stretches. Two of anime's best-known Shonan locations sit side by side on it, which makes for an easy, unhurried day trip from Tokyo.

Morning: Fujisawa

Start at Fujisawa Station, Sakuta's home station in Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, on the JR Tokaido Line or Odakyu. Between October 16 and November 30, 2026, Fujisawa and Enoshima are running a digital stamp rally for the series' new film; the city's tourist center has the details.

Late morning: Enoshima

Ride the Enoden to Enoshima Station and walk across to the island. It's a classic Shonan outing and part of this autumn's stamp rally, and the Shonan Candle 2026 light event (October 10 to November 3) has a tie-in with the series too.

Midday: Kamakurakokomae

Back on the Enoden, ride to Kamakurakokomae for the Slam Dunk crossing. Head straight to the official photo area in Koshigoe Rakko Park, next to the station; the city's guides, on duty from 10:00 to 18:00, will point you there anyway. The station is unstaffed and has no toilets, so plan ahead.

Afternoon: Shichirigahama

One stop east is Shichirigahama. Bunny Girl Senpai's school is modeled on Shichirigahama High, an active school right by the station, so admire it from the platform and head down to the beach instead. On a clear day, the view runs from Enoshima to Mt. Fuji.

Evening: Kamakura

Finish the line at Kamakura and take the JR Yokosuka Line back toward Tokyo.

Rules for the whole day

• Never step onto the tracks. No flash, tripods or stepladders anywhere on the Enoden.
• Don't film neighbors or other passengers.
• Carry your trash with you; public bins are rare.
• Weekdays are far calmer than weekends.
